To All Our Valued Customers:
Effective December 1, we will be implementing a rate adjustment. The amount will
be primarily determined by the new fees charged to us by programmers and
broadcast TV stations. As you have probably heard in the past year
ALL local broadcast networks are now demanding
payment for their video services. Cable, satellite, and telephone companies
nationwide have been fighting these excessive charges and now are appealing to
the FCC. We at Cablevision are currently in contract negotiations and hope to
have the final numbers for you shortly as our contracts are finalized. Thanks so
much for your patience and understanding as we continue to fight for you.
DON’T BE MISLED: ALL
video-service providers (cable, satellite, and telephone) will experience these
same unreasonable rate demands when their contracts expire.
